Agrasen ki Baoli situated in Connaught place of Delhi is one of the most haunted place in Delhi. There are stories that water collected from the well here used to turn black and the demons used to hide in the walls. It is believed that this stepwell was Commissioned by King Agrasen around 3000 B.C. and recent archeological surveys shows that this step-well was largely rebuilt in the 14th century by the Agarwal community. The step-well is 15mtrs wide and 60mtrs long with 108 steps in total and there are tiny chambers where the kings kept their prisoners.  Now the well is dried up and it is protected as a monument.

How to reach Agrasen ki Baoli

Agrasen ki Baoli is situated on Barakhamba road in CP. The easiest way to reach Agrasen ki Bapli is by metro. The nearest metro station is Barakhamba road metro station it is a few minutes walk from there and if you are travelling via bus the nearest bus stop is Barakhamba bus stand. The baoli opens everyday from 9am to 5:30 pm. There is no entry charge and no charge for photography.
